help !! 1990 535i

does anyone know what the story is?
I have my odometer and trip meter luminated after i turn the ignition key off. which drains my battery.
Any help sure would save me from a large headache.

you probably have a short somewhere. First place I'd check is the back of the instrument panel - specifically, the plugs.

its not a short. cause no fuses go out.
but it is a circuit that remains closed.
i dont know what controls that circuit
any suggestions would help :)
