clevertd- May be getting back into the e34 family again but with a 525. If so, then i will be tranfering the wheels and tires over. If not i will let you know. Tires are brand new Khumo Ecsta 711's. 235/45/17. Rims are AT replica M Konturs made for the e34. Short Shifter is UUC i think (will check on this).

Ceral- I do have wood trim but it is not in the best shape. will takke pics soon.

Whats the body look like? My car is great except for bunches of tiny door dings on both sides. How do your doors look? And would you be willing to sell them yet? If yours are really straight that would save me a lot of money in bodywork. I could also use the short shift (which is it? z3?), rear bumper trim, drivers side mirror, passenger side rear door panel (if you interior is black) and a couple other little things. I'm over in marietta, I could help you pull everything if needed.

Why not just pull yours off and recover them? Those pieces you are talking about would be the single handed easiest interior part to recover.

Its just the swtich the you move to adjust dash lights.. it scrolls up and down making them bright or dim. Dimmer switch is probobly what I should have just wrote.

I just need the switch it self. The easiest way to pull it out is to pull that whole black part out along with the light switch and then push it out from the back and unplug it. Keeps you from maring te plastic with a screw driver.

Stapled and or glued.. Should be pretty easy to recover thsoe.

If your talking about the center inserts on the door panel, they are glued to a panel, which is epoxied to the door panel itself. When you remove them, be real careful not to break the panel that is glued to the door panel.
I was going to do the same, and had a hell of a time seperating the two.

It is not a factory changer. It is Blaupunkt Toronto RDM 126 (part number 7647835010). I think it was installed 9-11-2000 by SW Stereo Specialists in New Bern SC (there is a sticker with date on the top of it).

You are refering to the on/off switches to control the heat correct? If so they are locted about 1 inch from the end of the leather on the side closest to the consul.

The wheels are in ehh condition. The lip was pollished at one time. tires probably have arround 600 miles on them. The car is located arround the intersection of I-285 and 141. Heres the thread about the wheels http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=670980

I should've prefaced, I'm not needing a nice set or anything. So if these are in great shape...they should go to someone in bad need of replacements. But otherwise...I can use the plastic.

Sorry i can't remember who it was that asked for the rear interior door panels. I think i deleted the PM by accident...They are ready for shipment as soon as i find a box. Sorry about the confusion!
