Does anyone have a phone or iPod power adapter that actually fits in the center console? Both of mine are too tall for the lid to close and thus I have to use the front cig lighter under the radio. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to tuck it all away in the center console.

I had the same problem with the Griffin Powerjolt Ipod adapter - too tall. I have a different one on order now that I think may be short enough to allow the hatch to close. It should arrive Monday. I'll let you know and also post where to get it if it works. If it does, :alrightbmw, if not :bawling.
Hey Zach,
I just purchased the Monster iCarCharger. It is an angled, low profile design that fits nicely. It also has a line out jack built in that provides better sound than the headphone port. I have listened to it in the car and the audio quality is very nice.
Good luck!

Another +1 on the iCharger. It actually does sound noticeably better than the headphone out.

I picked up the Belkin one for $30. Fits find, cable not too long, and has the amp built-in with a volume control. happy with it so far.
