shox info needed

hi all, i own a 1990 535i sport but the shox (front and back ) are shot..can these be repaired or is it a matter of just replacing them, if the latter, then does anyone know where i can get a good (cheap ) deal on them, thanks
plus, as i'm broke at the moment, can standard shox be fitted until i can afford the proper sport shox which should be used .. thanks again..

Shocks cannot be repaired easily, you will have to replace them. It's cheaper.

Ebay is your best bet, go for bilstein.
No, cheap shocks will only cost more money in the long run.
You're in the UK, there are tons of car shops over there.
You're looking at £200+ for a good set of 4.
Also check your strut tower mounts, they will prob need replacing.
