Anybody have their 2002 kit? I need to find the dimensions of the evaporator/blower unit to see if I can make it fit in my E9.

No experience with ICE, but here are a couple of links where you might find good info :

I think I have the link to one more company at work. If I do I'll post it tomorrow.

I have been looking at many vintage air systems, but they all have a common application system, which is like a bench. I need a center console fitting system, like most later BMWs. The ICE system, based on what I have been sent, seems to go in the center console. I just need the dimensions so I can see if I can shoehorn a double DIN slot in there along with the blower.

Don't know about ice, but if the dimensions are anything like stock you can get one slot but not two.

I downloaded Classic Auto Air's catalog a few weeks ago and, if you are using the stock console, the Classic Cooler (item 1-1014 at the bottom of page 15), seems like it will fit behind it. You could mock it up using styrofoam to see if it does.

Here's a link to the pdf catalog:

Everybody I have talked to about that unit says it is out of stock and production. I saw that unit earlier. I'd have to replace my heater with it, which would be pretty tricky, and eliminate the cool stock heater controls. Hence, I am looking for just an AC system. Thanks, though.
