MP3 player

My Beemer is fitted with a BMW radio/CD which also plays MP3 files from a CD. I have put 144 MP3 files on a CD, but get corruption when playing files after number 90. I have done this twice and it was the same in both cases. The CD's play OK all the way through om my computer. I also took the CD to my local BMW dealer and played it on 3 different cars with the same result.
Any ideas?
