Where do you buy your Klasse AIO and SG? I am thinking about trying this stuff out. How does it work on black cars? I have been using 3MIHG/Blitz and want to try something different.

Klasse AIO and Sealant is great . I have tried P21S ,3M Meguires...etc..The stuff is second to none in my opinion and is easy to put on . The cheapest place I found is A and M Motor Sport at www.aandmmotorsport.com They sell the AIO 16.9 oz at $18.00 and the Sealant 16.9 oz for $16.00 Most places on the web are $22.00 and 20.00. These guys ship the same day so try them out. They carry a number of other car care products.

klasse aio and sg are great products, I have used them a few times on my jet black 328ic.
I got a klasse concours kit which is the aio and sg with microfiber applicator sponges for around $30 from autodetail.com, also might want to try classic motoring accessories

As I said earlier I have done my homework when it comes to KLASSE. Autodetail price for the 16.9 oz All-In-One is $22.46 as compared to A and M's $18.00 and as for the sealant the price of that at Autodetail is $17.96 as compared to $16.00 for the 16.9 oz container A total savings of almost $6.00. The kit you spoke off is probably the 10 oz containers and therfore may have the lower price .I have also checked the other site you spoke off and they are even more expensive.

I've also read about Klasse, what is the duration of the wax??? Is it something that can be put on quarterly, or must be it done monthly?

Madman -

What about microfiber towels, where do you recommend purchasing those on the net?

P.S - I don't trust EBAY....I've heard you need to be careful when you buy microfiber towels....

Well there are a number of sources for microfiber towels. I bought mine from A and M a while back I do not remmber the price exactly maybe around $7.00 or so. It is a 3M product, that has worked very well for me.

As for KLASSE use AIO once every 6 months and Sealant Glaze as often as you like. You do not have to re-AIO every time. I usually re-seal and glaze once every 3-4 months , although I have friends who have let it go for 6 months and still had a great shine. It all depends on the enviroment you live in. If your car is exposed to snow and salt then 3 months if you live in a mild enviroment then 4-6 months is OK.

I got my Klasse from A and M Motorsport. The Concours kit is definately the way to go, the mf applicators that come with it are pretty nice. I use a kind of ghetto rigged system now because my AIO got run over  Instead of using the AIO, I use 3m SMR to clean up the paint, then apply the SG on top of that (usually 2 layers), then P21S (S100) carnuba. I redo the carnuba about every two weeks or so, and I just redid the first two steps (SMR and SG) two weeks ago after being on for almost 4 months. My car is cosmos black and when I'm done with her she shines like crazy :D

How well does Klasse repel water?

I have some, and it shines well, but I'm not sure it will repel water and offer the protection that a nice carnauba wax does.

How hard is the sealant to remove? I've heard it's a bit of work compared to the AIO. Does it get nicer with each additonal coat like Zaino- which is just too much work for me.

Sealant can be removed with AIO . I do not think you need to put more than 2 coats of Sealant on to get the ultimate shine. If you choose to do more it can't hurt. It is easy to put on and gives in my opinion the best protection and shine you can buy.

As for protection. I do not believe you can buy a better system than Klasse. It is designed to protect your finish from the elements. We use it here on our car that stays outside in the snow and salt all the time. ( We use it on all our cars) and it keeps it protected. I have also applied it to a Dark Blue S2000 when I was stationed overseas in the Desert and it protected the paint from the Sun and the elemnets. Klasse is designed for protection and it gives a great shine. If water is not reppeling off your car then something is wrong . Did you buff the AIO immediatly after you applied it or let it sit. You should not let it dry and buff immediatly . It goes the same for the Sealant.

Guys, don't forget that you can apply carnuba waxes as "toppers" over Klasse AIO and SG. I'd recommend Pinnacle Souvern for this...it's the best liquid carnuba I've found. $24.95 for 16oz at properautocare.com.

madman, What do you mean by, "Sealant can be removed with AIO?" Do you use the AIO over the Sealant? And how long did you wait for the Sealant to dry before removing it? Right away?

The SG is applied on top of the AIO... however the AIO will remove the SG if you put in on top....

And you should let the SG dry completely before removing it. I usually wait 15-20 minutes. If you try to buff if off right away its not very easy.

As Kyle said the AOI will remove the Sealant/ Glaze. But depending on the outside temp and where you live. The SG will dry pretty quick in warm weather. Wait for a haze then wipe off. I usually buff the AIO immediatly after applying. It gives me a better shine.

Thanks guys. So let me get this straight. First apply AIO. Wait for it to haze and remove (immediately). Then apply Sealant. Wait for hit to haze, then apply AIO. Wait for it to haze and remove both at the same time?

First apply AIO and buff immediatly do not wait till it dries, then apply sealant wait till it hazes then buff off end of story.

Sorry, I see that its a bit confusing...

Like madman says, apply the AIO and remove it immediately (do a section at a time), then apply SG and wait for it to dry, then buff it off.

What I was saying about the AIO will remove the SG was sort of like saying that polish will remove your wax... even though you would never want to put polish on over your wax... :)

Cool. Thanks guys. I've heard the SG is difficult to get off, but it sounds like it's not too bad if you let it haze.
