We just took delivery on a 2007 328i sport wagon with the sport pkg and a 6 spd. I think I'm really going to enjoy this vehicle. Lots of power, handles like a dream, and the fit and finish is just fine. However, I've read the 6 lbs of owner's manuals and I can barely find two sentences of specific information in there. How many quarts of oil does the engine take, what is the bolt pattern and offset of the wheels, how about a fuse box diagram, etc.

I'm still considering entering some kind of group therapy to get past the fact that this engine doesn't have a dip stick, but in the mean time is there some manual I can buy that provides more information on this car? This forum has already helped a lot and I'm happy to see the BMW Techs are willing to provide specific information. I don't suppose kidnapping one of them is an acceptable solution though. Any help during my transition will be appreciated. Thanks

Congrats on your new ride. First bimmer here too. The owners manual, while it's thick, doesn't cover everything. Some of the questions you're looking for is probably in the service manual (I'm sure you can get one from the dealer when it's available)
