Love my new car

Hey everyone, Just got my 07 328i last night and I am so in love with this car.. glad I picked this over the Lexus IS. Its jet black w/ premium package, sport package, auto, and xenon headlight. Picked it up for 37645$ before tax and license. MSRP was 39.9k. I opted for the extended maintanence service for 2k as I did some math and totally pays for itself. Will post pics as soon as it stops raining. Price was 500 over invoice from what they showed me. Think I did well?

I think you did very well... I am dealing for one now and am having trouble getting much money off MSRP... They are saying they do not need to as the cars are selling very quickly... I am 800 below MSRP at the moment...

How do you like the 328i as far as speed?... I drove the 335i as they did not have a 328i on the lot for me to drive. The 335i is fast but not sure how the 328 compares... They will hopeflly have one for me to test drive this week so I can take it out and see for myself.

I never drove the 335 as I knew they probably wouldn't deal at all and honestly it was out of my price range with options that I wanted. My dad has an 06 330i and its damn hard to tell the difference between the 2. Hands down better then the Lexus is250 and I also think the power delivery is more linear then the Lexus is350 as well. So, straight forward answer that sounds like you are looking for is does it feel underpowered. And the answer is no, doesn't feel like a compromise to me what so ever.

Thanks for your reply.... I look forward to taking the 328i out this week and seeing for myself... The 335i is out of my price range as well... I just hope I can get them to work more on the price on the 328i... They are sticking to their guns at the moment and most likely different area's of the country can get better deals based on valume of sales.

I sent out a request to 2 other dealers... So I will see what they come back with as well.

Had one dealer offer me only only $500 off sticker price, while another offered $1000 off. Definitely try different dealers.
