Has anyone put or know if 275's in the rears on the stock sports oem wheels will fit the 335i sedan? Is there enough wheel well space for it so you dont have to use spacers?

How is 275's over kill? Traction = good. Esp when you start to make more power.

Why is it overkill? 275s are the stock tires on my 335i, i assume the germans had a reason to put them on

Nice which rim style did you get? I got the # 162 styling, which are 18 x 8.0 front, 18x 8.5 rear. So im not sure if the 275's will fit the rears without any problems.

It was the "s" that threw me. I always described tires as "rubber", with no "s".

I just read another post from tecnik forums and they said
" You can get away with an E46 M3 setup, so 19X8.5/10 with 245/275 tires. "
But still not sure if theres any rubbing issues with that set up.

Not to dig up an old thread.......
But I recently picked up an 07' 335i with the factory 18" BMW wheels (see picture). The tires are shot and need to be replaced....and I'm wondering if I should go with the same size that the previous owners had on the car, or if I should go with something different.
Currently, it's got 255/35/18's on the front, and 275/35/18's in the back.
I don't mind having them a little wider than stock, but I don't want anything to rub.
Should I put a different size tire on the tire, or just replace with the same size that's on there?
Thanks!

Your tire size is fine you can run 30et on front offset with 255/35/18 and rear size is fine LCI 09+ have wider track but both can take 275/35/18.
