:) so i go to our local meet spot. well its actually just me and a bunch of friends a place where we can go and just hang out talk have fun ya know.. so my friend picked up a 200? mustang bullitt very nice car 290 hp. 305 tq and he wanted to get a couple runs in well since he was a new driver i said ok ill do one because i was on bald tires.. metal threads coming out.. so it would be a more even of a race..and i knew i was getting new tires the next day so i didnt care...
we line up my friend is flagging us down. i began to rev my car to 1500 rpm:stickoutt and from there i would feather my clutch out.. his hands drop and we are off. both of us burning out i suprisingly pull ahead and shift second i am about half a car shift third a full car he was at my rear bumper. than i shut it down.:alright
really good run i had fun racing the bullitt pretty fast.. :buttrock
my mods intake, open exhaust his mods same.
+1 to mustangs im starting to actually fall inlove with those things..:devillook :devillook

wait, is your car a turbo? or no?
ur sig confuses me.
they are supposed to run low 13's, but him being a new driver kills the chanes of that.

Bullitt's dont run low 13s. The specs Ive read were 265bhp, and 305lb-ft. I think they have the cobra manifold, a bigger TB, and an exhaust.... just some add-ons on a regular 4.6L GT engine. I believe I read that in motortrend.

lol @ the low 13s comment, they are a 14.0 second car just like every other mustang gt, you just get no spoiler, nicer exhaust tips, and the different non plastic intake manifold. same numbers as a basic gt

Omg shows how much you know.... The bullitt has a whole 5hp more than a simple GT.

there was a special edition bullit that they made like 100 of that were blown and putting down around 350whp.
all the other ones were just a regular gt with minor bolt-ons.
but i will admit i do like the way that they look!
good kill

Bulitt = 305hp. 32v 4.6, Bulitt intake, cobra brakes and suspension. Only made in 03 I think.

that sounds like the same as the mach 1's stats...but you probably know better than any of us because it looks like you have a few mustangs yourself.
anyways all i know is my buddy had a 2002 bullitt that was blown and he said it was some sort of special edition one that came that way

Doh! it is the 2v. I was thinkin Mach. The brakes are cobra tho. The intake is defferent on teh Bullitt which is where most of the power differece is.

Bullitt was not just a sticker package... it had no stickers on it.
It was a special edition car that had a unique interior (seats and various trim pieces), 2v motor with a couple more hp than a GT because of a slightly revised intake design, wing delete option w/ Cobra brakes, a set of lowered springs and upgraded dampners.
There were also no factory blown versions of the car either. There are lots out there that had blowers added by their owners, but none came stock that way. Oh and there were more than 4k or maybe 5k of them built in 2002.

nice kill but definately update your friend on the true HP numbers or he'll race a bunch of people and everyone will run around saying they beat a 290 hp mustang, and vise versa he'll think he can beat more cars thinking he has 25hp more than he actually does

2001 like someone corrected and it only has 265hp (5 more than a regular GT)..mostly cosmetic upgrades and brakes..the intake on it does breathe a lot better than the regular gt intake though

exactly.... the difference really shines through when you put nitrous or a blower to that intake...

yep, wont give in like the cheap one on the GT and flows much better due to throttle body, i used to have a 02 GT and always wanted to swap in the bullit intake/throttle body but it was like a 700+ job and i was a broke arse 18 yr old, so settled for accufab plenum
