This is for my buddy who has a 1999 328i with around 111k on the clock. Up until a day ago or so ago, the car ran PERFECT. It has 17" Proxies on aftermarket m3 replica wheels and has had this setup for a long time. It's daily driven too. All of a sudden he has a REALLY bad vibration in his wheel around 30-40mph when just driving normal and a really bad shake in his wheel when he hits the brakes at almost all speeds but mostly notice it a lot at higher speeds (70-80mph). So bad, it sounds and feels like he has a flat tire on the front passenger side.

So tonight we go to take off the wheel on the passenger side and the damn lug nuts WILL NOT come off. They're spinning but they're making a horrible metal on metal sound and feels like they're grinding like crazy. So after carefully getting them off with massive amounts of pressue they do come off. Also some lube on them seemed to help. The bolts seem fine and do not seem to be rethreaded. However, when we applies some WD40 to the bolt and the wheel hub and put everything back together, the wheel has a REALLY had time spinning. It'll almost do a full revolution and then it just feels like it hits a wall or something. Lifted up the opposite side of the car and the wheel/tire spins without any problems.

After reading a bit, it sounds like a warped rotor but we're just curious if it possible that it could be anything else?

Also, he had a flat on that side a few months back and took it to Les Schwab and they fixed the tire and put it back on. Possible that what they did caused this issue and could it take a couple of months for an issue to appear? Thanks for any help

you sure you're using the right size bolts? I had my retarded brother use my porsche brakes bolts in his car and the bolts would hit abs stuff and it would rotate EXACLY one rotation then hit a wall...
