Hi everyone,
Thinking of getting into the 335i sedan. I'm curious if the m6 style wheels will fit. I love the look of them. I have seen the replica's on ebay that are a fair price, but they don't say they fit the 3 series. Just the 5 and 7...

They fit. I plan on doing the same with my 335i. Here is a link with a few people who have alreday installed their M6 rims.

Only the aftermarket M6 reps fit, dont buy the factory wheels. you can get them in 19" and 18"

Why do the reps fit and not the OEM ones? What is the difference?

And how much do they weight? It looks awesome!

Yeah, why is that?
The M6 has a different chassis than the 335i, so factory wheels don't have the same offsets. So 5/6/7 wheels won't fit. And while replicas may look the same, they are usually heavier and softer. I've been down that road and I'll never do it again. Buy either OEM or quality aftermarket or you'll end up paying for it with flaked paint / wheel dent repairs / poor handling from weight penalties. That's just my $0.02 though, YMMV.

I saw a site selling the m6 replicas, and they said that the weight ( I dont remember 100%) is 25's for the front and 26/27 lbs on the back. Those are for 19's also. They are asking i belive $870 and some change for a set, not including shipping. Looks nice since a full set is about 1 bbs rim. But that being said im not too sure on the quility and strength or the rim itself.

Does anyone know if the m3 competition rims will fit on the 335i?
