urgent offset questons

I need to know if a 38mm off set will fit on my e46 4 door 328i
the wheels are 18/8.5 and 18/9 please help asap thanks if they will fit what size tires shall I run? thanks guy I need a response asap the auction on the wheels im buiying willend in 4 hours thanks

I would personally run a 235/40 up front and a 245/35 in the back

You can probably go wider, but not to much as you will start to rub I am sure. Roll and pull your fenders and you can do whatever you want

That offset should be enough to run them on your e36, though barely. You are definately going to rub, get your fenders rolled.

Fixed for you. And from my understanding, the e46 acutally has more fender room than the e36 even though they both use the same offsets
