Mustang GT: stock/auto, from what I could tell...maybe exhaust
350z mods:
-Kinetic Intake Manifold
-Intake
-Full exhaust
Conditions:Speedworld Drag Strip, 1473ft., 70*F
First time slip is me up against the GT and the second with the 350z. And here's a link to a story about my race with the 350z, which includes my car dumping out oil on the strip - http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7850388#post7850388

how big of a difference is 1100 ft? For instance what would your car pull at or around sea level? The time for the GT seems really slow 60 ft and all but DFW isnt 1100ft so who knows. Good job to you though! Those are some nice/respectable kills and on a track at that so no BS calling from people
reaction time for the 350z sucks lol..

So since you said you beat the 350, I'm assuming the 14.209 ET was yours, with the 350 getting 14.221. With that being said, the trap speed suggests he was coming on strong at the end though, which correlates with what most (truthful) E36 M drivers are saying, that it is close in the first few gears, then the 350 pulls up top. I'd like to see what the HP differences you guys' mods made though.
And to the poster above me, the 1100 elevation makes some difference. A lot of cars usually run up to .5 or so slower than their rated times. I have yet to see any stock, or slightly modded Mustang GT (pre-2005) break out of the 14's at Speedworld. To the original poster, when do you guys plan on going again? I live about ten minutes away from SW, in Surprise.

We're not planning on going for a while. Maybe sometime in January. We're more of a road racing crew:)
I checked Google Earth for precise altitude and it's actually 1473 feet. And here's a site with the correction factors.

So my best run would be a 13.96 at sea level. Since I had the oil issue I had to quit early, but I'm positive with more runs, I could have made a really solid launch.
I might re-match my friend with his 350 on the streets from a roll in 2nd. That should make for a very fair race.

SCCA or NASA*? I have friends in both camps.

Link?

Cool. I'd like to be there for that one. What part of town are you guys at?

Haha...I guess you caught me in the middle of editing. The race will be right after school and will be a very quick one. Nothing eventful.
I do mainly CRA events. I do DE4 and Time Attack. I'll PM you when we go next time.
