I am considering selling my silver on dove grey leather 1998 M3. It has the vader style seats which are in excellent condition front and back. Mods include: uuc system-u exhaust with dtm tips, custom cat replacement, midnight autowerke o2simulators(for no check engine light), activeautowerke ecis cold air intake w/heat sheild, unorthodox racing underdrive pullies, Centerforce stage II dual friction clutch (1500 miles), active autowerke stage I short shift kit, active autowerke shift knob, ebrake, and oil cap. active autowerke strut tower bar, euro clears all around. Have invested well over 7k in this car. Asking $25,700...... reason for selling.... well..... i want another supra:dunno

Whats involved in making the centerforce clutch fit(since they only make it for 95s)? Change of clutch fork?

It says they make them for 96 m3's, which i thought was odd because it didnt say 96-99.... just 96. But yeah i changed the fork, i also had to get a whole new flywheel because mine was so deeply grooved. It was an expensive process, but the clutch is great.

Not to go too far OT here, but yes, it is Titanium Silver(BMW code Titansilber).
I'm not sure if it was a BMW Individual car(although I don't think it is), but it is a late production '98. 3/98 to be exact. I think that's when they switched from Artic Silver to Ti Silver. Also when they changed from a 4 spoke steering wheel to a 3 spoke(which I have).

BMW changed from Artic Silver to Titanium silver on M3's with production dates 3/98 and up. They also changed to the 3 spoke sterring wheel with produciton dates 3/98 and up. In regards to a 98 M3 with 44k for 25,700... the market has detoriated.... i bought my 98 M3 with 36k miles and CPO warranty until mar 2004 or 100k miles for a whopping 25,200 in May of this year. Recently, a 4/98 production 98 M3 .... (titanium silver on black) with 32k miles went for 21,100 on eBay and it had some basic mods like an RD sway bar. It's a buyers market, the market for M3's and other models (e.g. M5) are really soft right now... that is the ultimate reality. Regardless, good luck on your sale 98///m398, it seems like u have invested a lot in your car and it shoudl be reflected in the price.
