quick question 325 lighting

I was given a loaner today by the dealership(325i 2006), while my 330zhp gets some service. The car is off, but there is a small lamp still on (right side), and a tail light still one(right side). Neither appear to go out. I'd read the manual but none exists in the car.

Is this normal, or can I expect a dead battery tomorrow.

Sounds like the parking light to me. Have you moved the indicator stalk back to the 'neutral' position? That's how parking lights are activated on some cars. On others, it's turned on using the light switch.

Btw, it's not normal. If you leave it on for an extended period of time, it will drain your battery.

the stalks seemed centered, but crankin back and forth seemed to fix.
