So i got a set of UUC pulleys from a UUC retailer for my 12/94 build 95 m3. I called rob at uuc to confirm that i got the coreect parts and he told me that there are two different types of pullies based on what waterpump, or powersteering pump you have. He told me to check the thickness of the pulleys before i install to make sure i got the right set. Anyway, Since Im not a mechanic does anyone have any tips or know which pulley set i need?

I thought it was the alternator pulley that was different...bosch or valeo.

I am pretty sure it is just the alternator pulley that you have to worry about. But at the same time, I thought they stopped offering the alternator pulley. Also, the UUC alt. pulley IIRC doesn't underdrive the alt. at all, it is just for looks. Other than that I believe the rest you shouldn't have to worry about.

Do you have an aftermarket intake? If so, (and maybe even w/ the stock intake) you should be able to look down at the alt and read the label.
I couldn't tell the difference between the stock and UUC alt pulley other than looks.

Like I said above, I am pretty sure they stopped offering the alt. pulley in thier set since it wasn't underdriven anyway. So you should be just fine with what you received.

I just installed their pulley set and there was no offering of an alt pulley...but I got the black ones so maybe that's why they didn't offer it.
yeah, and I don't think UUC makes an oversize alt pulley either...just a looks thing.

you are right, they used to offer a alt pulley, but it wasn't underdriven, just a looks thing as that is what I have on my car.
