We will hang out at the 2nd spot, hopefully doing burnouts, donuts and stuff..(heh) and hopefully avoid the po-pos.
We will grab a bite to eat, hang out, show off our sound systems and stuff. Talk about mods, ideas, shops.
Please help us by spreading the word about this event on all the forums. Tell your friends. Everyone is welcome!

The turnout should be very good! Don't worry about being "kicked out," I will contact them about what's going on ahead of time. Also, if the parking space is limited we will definitely have a fun little drive to a new spot that has AMPLE parking, and lots of food places.

Ok, we're meeting at the Carlsbad Country stores Starbucks that morning at 8 am.

From Escondido, San Marcos, Vista and the like, take 78 West to 5 South, take the 5 north to Palomar Airport Road, make a left over the 5 to the first light. Make a left there and go about 500 yards - on your right will be the South end of the mall parking lot - Starbucks is in that end of the mall, facing the parking lot. If you pass the mall and see car lots, you've gone too far - it's almost directly across from the Old Pea Soup Andersons and that hotel.

From the Beach Cities, take 5 North, off at Palomar Airport Road and head east. Get in the left hand lane immediately, and hang a left there -- go about 500 yards - on your right will be the South end of the mall parking lot - Starbucks is in that end of the mall, facing the parking lot.

There is also a caravan meeting up in Mira Mesa - at the McDonalds on Mira Mesa blvd near the 805 that is headed North to the Carlsbad Country stores for a 8:15 arrival. That crew is departing at 8am from the MM location. Email BMWPower5Sport@att.net for details - he's the MM man :)

We're rolling north to Irvine from Carslbad at 8:45 - that gives us plenty of time to make Irvine on time. We're leaving right at 8:45. Bring your radios set to 12-0.

Ok.. well I'm not being skeptic or anything, but I'm quite sure that the big parking lot we used does not belong to Fat Burger. Fat Burger is just a small restaurant inside the big center and the parking structure is private and belongs to the corporate buildings next to the centre. Now is it ok just to get Fat Burger manager's approval and not the "property" management approval?

Oh well, no big deal. We'll see what happens this Saturday.

WOW!!! For those of you who stuck around until the end the canyon drives were AWESOME! It was a nice (100+ cars, cycles) turnout - next year the meeting spot will definitely be changed. Personally I really enjoyed everything -everyone was as nice as their cars.

Invited me to his house, let me borrow his lift on 2 occasions, gave me an M3 front bumper free, his girlfriend cooked me dinner, he helped me install sway bars and stainless steel brake lines and never wanted a penny.
