I noticed some pretty severe egg-shelling on the front fenders of a graphite 328i coupe when I was at the dealer a few days ago. It was only on the front fenders, which I believe are plastic. My friend noticed it first and I was skeptical, but couldn't deny it when I looked closer. I hope this is a 1-off deal, as my 335i will not be accepted if it has the same effect. Anyone here noticed similar issues on e92 o7's?

I wonder if that car took a hit. BMW has a great paint system and I cannot believe that this is anything but a "one off".

I'm with you as far as BMW's quality being very high. I was shocked at how obvious it was. It was bilateral, so I seriously doubt that it was from a collision unless it was a bad one and the hood got better treatment. The other 2 335i's looked good, as did the one other 328, but the one in question was the only graphite (of concern, as that's my color for my 335i coupe). I'll snap a picture of it when I'm at the dealer tomorrow if it's still there & I'll mention it to my sales rep then too.
