So i bought some angel eyes on ebay on thursday and here is the email i recieved from the seller.

<TABLE cellSpacing=8 cellPadding=0 width="100%" align=center border=0 nowrap><TBODY><TR><TD>Hi,
While process your order for shipment, I noticed you have provided an unconfirmed address for shipping. As stated in the auction, we will only ship to buyer's paypal confirmed address per paypal policy. The policy is to protect both buyer and seller, if you have issues with the policy and wish to question it, please contact paypal directly, they can better explain the policy for you.

Here are 2 of your options:

1.Please paypal us the entire amount ($239.95) to gashaponusa@yahoo.com (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/), include your name, paypal confirmed address (please do not change it this time) and a note says for "ebay #170034519496." Once we received your payment with your paypal confirmed address, we will ship out your order and refund your first payment (within 24 hours). All of your payments are protected by paypal, we are just asking for the same protection.

2. Or you can send in a money order for your purchase (I will provide you with our address info at your request), I will give you a $10 discount if you want to do that. Once the money order is received, we will refund your paypal payment right away.

As stated in our auction and also according to paypal policy, we must ship to your paypal confirmed address. Please take necessary steps to correct the address issue, or we can not process and ship your order. If you wish to cancel the order, please note ebay charges a seller listing fees, final fees and paypal fees for a transaction; these fees will be deducted off your payment before a refund is issued. Non-pay might be filed at our discretion. Let me know.

Best Regards

It's easy to get verified, if I remember right you just have to add a bank account number to your paypal account. Doesn't mean you have to use it for deposits or withdrawls, but apparently it raises your trustworthiness as far as paypal is concerned.

This is STANDARD.

Confirm your address. There is a simple way of doing so with paypal.

He seems to think you changed your shipping address from the confirmed one. Maybe just ask him to ship it to the confirmed addesss. I don't think it is a good idea to pay for it two times

Nevermind - I didnt read it well the first time.

I would certianly NOT send payment again. Have him refund your money and then you can resubmit.. or just tell him to send it to whatever your paypal confirmed address is.

His feedback is great. I wouldnt really worry. People that scam others are not in business long.. and certainly dont get 99% feedback.

you shouldnt pay, dont buy from redcometm3, horrible seller. Good luck with the install, its next to impossible when the headlights he sells are defective and he doesnt return emails after he has your money

Do the angel eyes come pre-installed?

No, that is what REDCOMETM3 told me recently. You have to do it yourself.

Don't send it twice, and DON'T send a money order. That's when the money goes bye-bye. Confirm the address with Paypal. If he won't play ball, get a refund. Anyone asking you to pay for something twice just screams scam, I don't care how good his feedback is.

Under no circumstances should you pay for the item twice. I would contact him, request a refund of your original amount with an agreement to pay with a Verified Paypal address.

If he refuses then it starts getting ugly and you need to get eBay and Paypal involved. Even if he specified in the auction that he will only ship to a "Verified" Paypal address that does not give him a free pass to keep your money. Keep ALL emails and correspondence. If it even begins to look like he is going to keep your money and not make any concessions then you need to contact eBay and Paypal IMMEDIATELY. If you wait longer than 30 days Paypal will wash their hands of the deal. eBay generally requires that you wait 2 weeks before they get involved. That leaves you a very short 2 week window of opportunity to get your money back or reach a resolution.

I would call them on the phone if they list a number and talk to a human being, then follow up with an email to shore up what you talked about.

I wouldn't be quick to call it a scam unless he didn't clearly state his payment terms in the auction. If he didn't state that then Yes, that screams scam or at least an unscrupulous seller.

-Good Luck
