Pulley question... [Archive] - Bimmerforums

Hello. I understand that a pulley results in more torque/hp, but I am interested in any potential problems with underdriving the waterpump, and power steering pump. I live in Phoenix, so I am unsure of the ramifications of underdriving the waterpump.

try the search function, there are lots of threads on crank pulleys, accessory pulleys, etc...

I just ordered Eurosport 3 pulley set, and I live in Tucson. I'll try to keep you posted.

I have had mine installed for about a month now. No problems with cooling (AZ heat!) and not a noticable change in Power steering feel.

Not to be biased but I have had the original 3 pulley prototype on my daily driver for over 3.5 years now operating in Houston Texas stop and go traffic (Yes it gets hot here as well) with no issues.
