hi, I have noticed that fuse #20 was kinda smelling funny.

Let me back up....

For the last year or so, I can only get heat from the defroster.
Putting the heat dial (I have the dual manual knobs for climate control)
all the way, and putting the vent control to floor or directly out doesnt do much at all. The floor does absolutely nothing. Putting it directly out to me
puts out very very minimal air. Almost nothing at all. Putting it on 4
really doesnt help at all. Maybe just a tad bit of air./ Oddly, like I said before, putting it on defroster would be perfect.

Now, back to fuse 20...

Today I noticed there was no air at all coming out. I checked the fuses
and lo-and-behold the fuse seemed to be melting or something. The top cover of the fuse was gone:eek: and it was just the metalic part of the fuse
left. I have done the search, but havent seen anyone with the exact same heating problems. Please help. Thanks.

one thing I wanted to add...

if its not on "recirc" mode then it will hardly blow hot air at all.
When it comes to a/c mode, it works fine.

Edit: upon further research, it seems like heater valve needs to be replaced to
solve the distribution of heat. That hopefully solves that, but would a bad heater valve
cause the fuse to start acting up?????
Maybe I put in a cheap fuse???? I'll replace it with a good one later on./
