This is a bit out there, but might anyone have an AutoCAD file of an M3? I am thinking about drawing one up but thought I might be able to build on someone elses work, as long as they wouldn't mind of course. Thank you for your time.

That would be awesome. I have been using AutoCAD for over 10 years now. If you find one, let me know and I can take it and turn it into a 3D wireframe and import it into VIS/MAX and render in some pretty amazing renderings we have...

So I guess I have alot of work ahead of me. Measuring included.
What you need is someone who has access to a 3D laser scanner or FARO machine. I have seen one used before and it is pretty amazing how accurate and quick these things work. They scan the object and give you an IGES file that you can import into any 3D modeling program.
We used on about 1.5 years ago and the charge to rent the equipment was approximately $750. I am sure that the price has dropped substantially since there are now several companies making this equipment.

You might be able to find some measured flat drawings of them in something like the Bentley manual.
