Where's the best place to go for some touch-up paint for my '86 325es? I've checked on-line parts sites with no luck: Gapa, Alleomparts, and others. Closest BMW dealer for me is 3 hours away.

Most any body shop might sell you a bottle of touch-up. Any auto paint store well sell min 1 quart of paint, just give paint code or look in their paint chip book.

This may be of little help, but last summer I did a google search for auto paints and the color of my car (calypso red). I recall seeing a Parker Paints (???) site that had perfect color matching for just about any car, going back into the 30s for restoration. Would keep searching on line...am sure you can find something to match exactly.
