The Ultimate Hot Hatch!

For sale one 1999 BMW M Coupe. This is a stylish, economical, and ultra rare sports car. The cars are incredibly rare with less than 5000 on the roads worldwide and 2500 in North America (there were 8000 NSX’s sold in the US alone)! It is an amazing car! It's fast, super responsive, handles great, and sounds amazing! The car has been very well taken care of and it shows…
This is my wife’s daily driver but recently she was in an ATV accident and won’t be able to drive it (or any manual transmission car) for a long time. I trust the car enough to have let my wife drive it across the state of Texas alone and I would hop in it and take it anywhere…
BODY-
Let’s start off with the best part! The body is in amazing shape. Stuart’s body shop in Dallas resprayed the front end due to rock chips totaling almost $2000. This is the best paint shop in Texas and who all the high end dealerships, including Ferrari, and RUF send their customers to (search Stuart’s Paint and Body for reviews or stuartspnb.com). The paint match is perfect, and completely undetectable to the naked eye. There is one tiny chip on the hood, and a few small blemishes on the remainder of the body. I can get close up pics of anything you want just email me and ask!
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION-
The engine runs great; it starts right up instantly every time, and doesn’t leak or smoke. It is surprisingly economical and gets great gas mileage. This is the S52 engine out of the BMW M3 so it is reliable and parts are inexpensive and readily available. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles since new, and has been on exclusively Mobil One for the last 6 years. The spark plugs have been replaced, coolant flushed, but the car has needed no other maintenance so far. I have all of the receipts for all of the major service but the previous owner (who’s buying the Z4 M Coupe by the way) and myself prefer to do oil changes on our own. If we were keeping the car I would plan on changing the belts and thermostat in the future, but the car won’t need much else besides that for a long time to come…
The car has a $1500 Supersprint Exhaust system on it, and a Dinan intake for better gas mileage and sound. The exhaust system is not too loud and doesn’t drone on the highway, I do have the stock exhaust which will be included with the car…
The stock transmission is in excellent shape, the clutch grabs strong, and there are NO grinds. The clutch and all other accompanying parts were replaced (including the guibo) at 71k miles…
SUSPENSION/BRAKES/TIRES-
The cars suspension is in OK shape. It could use a new set of struts and strut mounts but still drives and handles great. The brake pads have been replaced, the tires are at a little less than half tread with less on the rear, and the wheels have a little curb rash but not much…
INTERIOR-
The interior is very clean and has been well taken care of. It is a black leather interior (no gross blue or red!); there is no smoke smell, or old car odor, just BMW leather. There is very little wear on the seat bolsters; you wouldn’t think it has as many miles on it as it does. The previous owner replaced the worn stock shift knob with a new one. The car has a gorgeous clarion CD headunit in it, which comes with the car (stock radio included as well) which sounds great except for one speaker crackles occasionally…
