For the people lucky enough to go last year, they said it was well worth it. :)

I actually do not know if there is an age limit for membership, but if you really want the free tickets and both you and your parent(s) are BMW enthusiasts, here is what I would recommend:

Call BMWCCA at 1-864-250-0022. If there is a minimum age, your parent(s) could join using Credit card (and perhaps get a membership number right away) and you could probably join as a family member (at reduced rate).

You will also want to check out the thread on TechFest West coming to SoCal in March. I don't think membership will be required for some parts of that event.

Yes, the tickets are a reward to BMW CCA members.

As of yesterday or the day before I thought he had about 100 tickets still. Check out the thread link in the first post. The tickets are being given out in pairs and some people only need one and are looking for other people that want to go. :)

All tickets for the BMW Reception at the L. A. Auto Show have now been claimed. For those that did not get tickets, if you stop by the BMW display Saturday morning January 4th you'll still have a chance to meet the BMW NA reps.

Damn good thing I got mine. Last year's event and the year before was awesome! I personally liked the parking lot the best, it was a bimmer showroom down there. See you all there!
