About to purchase

Hello All, I think I am going to buy a 1990 535i this weekend. I am going to check it out tomorrow morning. I want to ask if someone would be kind enough to give me some pointers on what specific things to look for or look out for when inspecting the car.

And if anyone would go to the even go as far as to go with me to check it out.

My only point that I want to stress is taking it to a professional mechanic and get it up on a lift. There is only so much you can inspect w/out the car on a lift.

Oil leaks, body damage, test drive it and she how it stops and shifts. Check to see if all the windows and door work............
