Hi guys, quick question. When checking the coolant level, would you still have to bleed the air out of the system even if you didn't need to add any coolant? I'd like to check the coolant level tomorrow morning, so just wanted to ask you all about this. I just bought the car yesterday, and been looking over the manual, but just can't seem to find an answer. Thanks guys for your time and help. I'll post pics of the car real soon. Dakar yellow is quite a color =)

There is a cold level line on the expansion tank to let you know if you have enough in there. Is it acting funny/ why are you thinking it needs to be bled? If you wanna bleed it, fill to the afore mentioned line and drive the car. Let it warm up, and park it(leave it running). Slowly undo the "screw" on the top of the expansion tank and let the lil bubbles come out. No bubbles should = no problems.

Thanks a lot for the reply, it's hard to tell because the whole expansion tank is like a greenish/blue, so i'm guessing it's filled to the top. But the owner suggested to check it often just to see if I needed to add some water or the 50/50 mixture. And I was told by my mom after leaving in the morning that theres some watery fluid that leaked from the car, so i'm guessing during the cold start the coolant overflowed? It hasn't leaked during the whole day, just in the morning after I left. Really appreciate all the help btw, no dad to help with this stuff ha.

The line is NOT at the top. There should be a line on the outside of the reservoir. If you cant see through the plastic, with some light you should be able to see the line from the inside (unless fluid is covering it).
