hold on, what has been done to the motor to warrant such a high price. yes this looks like a race car and im sure its a good one, but in your description all you mention is racing drivetrain components, and littler parts done to the car.

is the engien rebuilt with all race internals? seems like some people know you and hte car here in quite some detail, but some of us dont. why is it so expensive?

The “list” is pretty detailed. If the rebuild was with race internals, I think he’d say so.

Obviously, a car like this is a toy for the established individual - not for everybody. I don’t know the seller, but I’ve done projects like this, and I would be willing to bet that receipts exceed the asking price – which by the way is OBO. There is no average selling price for such a car; a sweet toy from what I can see.

If you love it, the only way you might build it/duplicate it for the asking price, is if you were capable of doing all the labor, and you wrote it off.

My first BMW was this same model, year and color -- only had 65k and was a mint CA car - all stock save some lowering springs and blisteins...was not nearly this cool though. GL with the sale.

Thanks you guys for the GL's and encouragement. I am selling the car because I need the money bad. I have a lot of things I need the money for. First. Moving out. Second. Pay some debt. Third. Have some cash to spend on the M3 and have a little for myself later.

Modding a car usually won't net you much of a increase! If you need $ you need to put a realastic price. For 10k someone could go find a E21 Alpina. Not trying to hate, as your car is very clean but is it worth 10.5k:confused

See, the reason I ask this price is because I was at the college and had a note on my car saying that he was interested in my car for 10,5. I called about a week later and his mother tells me he has moved. I ask for his new number and she says that she won't give it to me because she doesn't know me and nor does he. So I have left 6 messages and had no response. So 10,5 is what I see it COULD get. But I put OBO for any nearby price. I doubt I'll get 10,5 from the fellow bimmer guys but I can hope for a nearby number. :dunno
