So after putting this off for a while...I finally got around to getting a new clutch/flywheel for my '95 vf s/c m3 with 95k miles (on the original clutch). Per Jon Caldito's recommendation, I went with the Clutchmaster's stage 2 Kevlar clutch with JB Racing lightweight flywheel. I got it off bimmerworld.com.
Got it all installed at The M Shop in LA (highly recommend this place) :buttrock Thanks to Joe and Jon for the professional and timely install and great communication. I will be going back.
So far I'm very happy w/ the clutch/flywheel kit. The flywheel makes NO chatter, and the clutch feels just like stock (maybe even easier to drive than stock...)
Oh yeah, I figured I'd upgrade my shortshifter as well so I went with the Stygar shortshifter and I also HIGHLY recommend this kit. It's the cheapest one out there, feels GREAT (no notchiness, very short), and is made from OEM bmw parts. I upgraded from an old uuc one btw...
My car feels brand new! And with this kevlar clutch, i'm ready for an increase in boost...(call me when stage 2 is out, VF...) :evil2
