Alright. So I jump into my ride and turn the ignition a few times before it actually grabs. (Like many, sometimes my ignition does the complete full circle a few times before it actually grabs and starts) As it was starting, i kind of let off a little soon because my keys were all wound up from from the initial spin. So the engine starts...but it wasnt a strong start. It just kinda barely started.

I wait until it warms up for a bit and then proceede to my destination about 5 miles away. The whole time im driving, Im getting a lot of hessitation and bogging. Even when im not in gear...if i rev the engine...it still hessitates. I end up getting frustrated and pull over. Turn the engine off....and restart. This time, everything is fine. I rev a few times...sounds healty. No bogging or hessitation. Make a spirited trip home and it runs like a beauty.

Anyone know what im talking about or can elaborate whats going on? Really, it just scared the shit out of me since i just spent a grip of money on replacing the heater core and radiator the other day.

Check for vacuum leaks first! This is what I always do when I have a driveability problem. Last time I had a problem like yours it was my vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator, mine is behind the intake (1995), I think yours must be down by the fuel filter. But check all the possible vacuum leaks, because it sounds like your O2 control is at limit. Or check your actual 02 because when your WOT I think that computer changed from O2 to your WOT map.... I´m not 100% sure on this but I hope it helps!!!

do NOT let your car warm up by sitting idle. Bad Lubrication happens and ticking happens. Start it and drive rightaway being sure to stay under 3,000 r.p.m. and 1/2 throttle. It even says so in the manual!
Sounds like a rough idle. Could be your Sec. Air Valve stuck open...or I.C.V....or just cold.

O2 sensors are dying. This doesn't always trip teh CE light, but if your car has over 55k miles, the hesitation is coming from the pre-cat O2 sensors. My 1996 was doing the same things under hard acceleration...it's like you mash the gas...the car hesitates and then kicks it in.

The pre-cat O2 sensor are responsible for the air/fuel mixture.

I don't remember the code it trips off-hand, it's been like 5 years, BUT, the peake guide says something along the lines of O2 sensor (4-6/1-3) reaction.

You should never have to push on the throttle to start a E36 M3...
