Turbo Jack stand racer club...

Well, I started my project WAyyy Back when Goofynick did..And I am still on the jackstands..I did manage to drive it a few times before I broke my too low waste gate...I have the replacement sitting in the car with the boxes of new suspender parts and brakes...

So now I get to walk past my car with the hood open in my Garage. While I finish the Home Bathroom remodel from hell! Before my mother in law gets here for her month long stay in two weeks...

It's like the M3 is calling out to be finished...I feel the pain but just don't have time to work on it now:(

Bad thing is, now I want pistons, rods, PPF headgasket, and ARP studs and it's only been on the road three times...grrrrrrr

And its all becasue I keep hanging out on the forum. Damnnnn..Like crack...:stickoutt

Now I am even starting to think maybe sell the 95, and build my 91 E30M3 make it a turbo :D

ahhhhh...well...that was good for me..back to the bathroom from hell...

Hell, I was a jackstand racer at 3 different locations.

I got to know sorority girls cuz of my jackstand racerness (parking lot was right next to a sorority house), they knew me as the "mechanic" :rofl

Mine usually isn't up on jackstands for more than a few hours at a time. Usually only while swapping brakes or springs. Though it is disturbing how limited the rebound travel now is...

Mine's not on jackstands, it's in the back lot. My turbo dakota is on the lift(and almost done). The M3 is coming along. Parts show up every other day. It's like christmas, but I have to play santa too.

I know the feeling..mine is currently on jackstands again, but only for the week while I replace some gaskets, make wastegate pipe adjustments, add GC shims and perhaps some new rotors :)

I just had to do a some wood flooring upstairs, so I know how the remodeling thing goes!

Jackstands? Hmmm, the bimmer is on ramps, the built 951 is on jackstands, and I have 3 iron block sixes on stands right now. Does that count?

You know one problem with more space, you collect more projects...1350sq ft shop....M3 on the jackstands in my garage at home...No room in my shop:D

yeah they come up to me and ask me when its going to be done and i tell them whenever i get it done lol. its been there for over a month hah theyve come to accept it and theyre all like "its that like a sleeper or something"

Why would the neighbors flip out? If i had my car on stands infront of my house for a long time, I dont see a reason for the neighbors to flip out.

My Jackstand racer hit the ground last night I'ts 7:30 in the morning and when it hits 8 I'm starting her up with Just A downpipe on....

Just a few more development parts I've been working on. Plan was to work with the valving until i found a decent compromise that worked well with a decent range of rates. Then sell it as a kit with that range of rates. The goal is to have a decent track/occasional street setup that is easily adjusted, comes with all the springs you'd need, and is under $2k. (currently planning on including 5 sets.)

find a local harley club or something and ask them to come cruise through your neighborhood a few times a week. ;) They'll forget all about your cars.

Thought I had a record...of 7 months from Sept-05 to Mar-06 On jack stands in the driveway under cover. I had for gotten how fun it was. Also had thoughts of selling:(

It got really hot...too hot to work sometimes. Other times I got lazy. Other times my wife didn't let me, then there was the issue with a part I ordered and waited 1.5 months for. BUt mostly I get lazy
