I'm running a 98 m3, OE tire size front and rear. Right now I'm buring through rear tires like crazy. Aprox. 4 rear set, for every 1 front. I've gone through Yoko AVS sports, Mich PS2, Conti Contact, and Toyo's R1 (I think, can't remember). I need something that last longer then 7k - 8k miles. Not doing any hard driving, and suspension is fine (had it checked out, and tire wear is pretty even). Are there any tires out there that's going to get me more life, and not break my wallet at the same time? Note, I rearly push the car past 100mph, so it doesn't even need to be a z rated + tire.

I had some Eagle F1 GSD3's I drive my car HARD.... they lasted 12,000 miles. not too bad... but pricey. great grip wet or dry.
But I think I'm going with the (forgot the maker) advan neova's next...

Get a part time job at Discount Tire and use your employee discount and free mount and balance.

Really the problem is your driving and not the tires. Though the wear rating on tires is dropping in general. All the new Bridgestones are like 140 to 200 wear rated and expensive as hell.

That's why I went to the Azenis. Great stick, stiff sidewalls, decent price.

You need to talk to a foundry about some cast iron shoes for your baby.

somethings not right here.... my rear is DUMPED as far as ground controls will go like its squating to take a shit and my rears will last me like 15k miles.. stop doing burn outs?

oh btw... i recommend kumho spt's. nasty grip for the price. good tread wear.

I'm not doing any burn outs, just normal driving. I do sit in traffic a lot, stop and go kills tires? Anyways, I took a look at the Kuhmo's Spt and the Fuzion ZRi, both have pretty decent tread life and the price is all below 100. It's either those two or go with some Mich PS a/s. Thanks for the suggestions on the tires!!

Get the fuzion ZRi. Decent tire and mine show almost no wear at 5k miles.
