Carbon Fiber Sunroof?

I saw a carbon fiber sunroof kit for an e46 BMW at one point and I cannot find it again... I need something fixed for my car as it will be on it's way to becoming a show/SPL vehicle.

The sunroof already flexes in and out with my single 12" woofer and I will be running 3x 15" woofers with somewhere in the area of 12,000 watts or so :)

Anyway... if anyone knows the part I am referring to I would be very glad to get a link to it. Thanks in advance!

Was it a sunroof made out of cf, or was it just cf overlay?

someone makes a cf panel that replaces the sunroof panel and then you can take out the motor to lower your center of gravity. doesn't sound like your direction to me though.

CF overlay. I was contemplating that the other day. If it's just for show why not and it's not like it weighs THAT much right. Done properly it would be difficult to tell from the real deal

That is exactly what I was looking for. I would like to get the whole motor assembly and factory glass and sliding pieces OUT of the car entirely and secure the new carbon fiber piece permanently to maintain pressure in the vehicle.

fyi, this is a sunroof delete panel, not a functioning sunroof panel!.........
this is the one i'm getting but can't seem to find a non-sunroof sedan headliner...:(

Indeed. I am simply looking for a rigid panel to mount up there to replace what is in there. May have to make a custom interior insert for the sunroof cutout, though...
