I'm about to order the MAF from a vw as I read somewhere that it will fit the 7 series. Can anyone please let me know that I'm right on this?

VW maf's are not for your year, it only works on 99 and up vehicles. The cheapest place you'll be able to find it is at www.autohausaz.com for like $350. Sorry bro.
