I'm in need of a new set of rims/tires. My motto is go big or go home. The tires will be used for everyday summer use and will see limited track time. I've got a 323is with h&r 1" lowering. What do you guys think about BBS CH 18*8 front and 18*8.5 rear Bridgestone Potenza S 03 Pole position. Will this set fit w/out fender mods? Is this the best tire combo for the car? Is there a better tire for everyday summer use? Thanks guys...oh and go michigan state!

from what i've read the S 03's can leave a little to be desired...i'm about to buy a set of performance tires too, and my best resource has been this board and the personal reviews of tires on tirerack.com. I usually sort them by BMW drivers and see people that have something comparable.

go buckeyes! next stop: Fiesta Bowl

The S03 is being discontinued and they already have the replacement out. The RE050A Pole Position is better than the S03 in both wet and dry. We tested them head to head with the Michelin PS2 and the Goodyear GSD3 and I liked the RE050 the best.
If I can help let me know.
