My freind ownes the T's on a 99 passat 1.8t with h&r springs and bilstien sports. He is has bridgestone RE730 pontenza tires (225/40-18) and takes very good care of them. He avoids all bumps and swerves like a drunk maniac to get out of the way of pot holes. He only puts them on during spring and summer and currently he has bent two out of the 4. He has had them for a year and a half.

I have had two sets over the years. Some 16" type C that were easily bent. I have some 15" type J (I think) on my E28 now that hold up better (perhaps because I have 60 series tires on them). They have a goofy little spacer to center them on the hub. Mechanics invariably loose them and the cars shakes like a truck. This sucks.
They are okay for an alternative street wheel vs. bottle caps. I wouldn't recommend them for track use or for 40 series tires based on my experience. They are not the same model as what you are considering.
You can sum them up in two words. They're cheap!
Good Luck,
