Fixable?

I noticed the other day when adjusting my tire pressures ('97 328iS) that my rear left rim has developed a crack. I have no idea what caused it either, the tire got pretty low about 1.5 months ago but I aired it up and it was fine, as I check my tires about once a week. :(

I have no experience with wheels/tires, and was wondering if its fixable? Or is the structure of the wheel forever screwed up? Sorry for the crappy picture, figured its better than nothing. :help

I think it can be fixed although some people don't like doing this kind of repairs. I got welded two of my wheels.
