ok .. im pretty sure im getting 6000k hids from lava lighting .. for low beams and maybe fogs .. but which bulbs should i get .. the osram kit or the phillips kit ? i dont want it too purple .. cuz i still want some good light output .. which do you guys think .. pics ?? thanks

i have had them BOTH ..... i am happier with the osrams.....

also u have 4300k ..
im looking to get either kit .. also .. the phillips kit from lava lighting has its own wiring harness so it doesnt use the thin wires from the elipsods

osram is a nicer color than the phillips.
philips in low beams...osrams in fogs:D

the philips are more purple then the osrams are. i like the osrams better.

I have heard that it's 6 of one and half dozen on the other.
Almost doesn't matter.

I agree. As both are almost identical color temp (4100K vs 4300K) but I've used both Osram OEM D2S and Philips OEM D2S and the Philips "burn" into a higher K color making them a bit more blue than the Osrams.
This is a phenomenan (sp?) that many have discussed before...
It has something to do with the salts that are used in manufacturing the Philips/Osram bulbs.
I've used Philips bulbs that have burned into a violet-type color after about 100 hrs...
Osrams seem to be a bit more consistant in color but still are blue compared to halogen...
