Okay, I just called up the bmw dealership in regard of purchasing the stickers for the centercaps and apparently there are different sizes?? He was busy and had to go and told me to come in, but it's a fairly long drive out there and was wondering if anybody knows what are the differences in these stickers?

I'm asking because I need to replace 3 of my center cap stickers, but I have somebody that is willing to give me a set of center caps (not just the stickers, but the caps themselves too) off of his stock E53 X5's wheels, and I dont know what the differences are. I would imagine the 'width' of the center caps for all bmw's would be all the same? But i'm no center cap specailist, so really dont know.

There are different styles of caps from what I have seen depending on the wheel. I have seen some that are caps which have stickers on them, and I have seen others that aren't stickers (similar to the roundels one your hood/trunk) and they snap into place.

but I take it the width of the caps is all the same? ie. you can take one oem bmw centercap and fit it into any bmw wheel? and the only differences in sizes is the visual difference of the bmw logo?

Hey guys, I just went to meet up with a guy to buy his 4-set of centercaps off of him which came off of his E53 2003 x5 stock wheels, and the caps did not fit !!!! They were like 2mm too big in diameter, and had 2x the amount of clips on the side of the centercap.. anybody know why this didnt fit?? Thinking about it now, I dont know if they never were suppose to fit, or if I did not push the caps far enough into my 1992 E36 325i rims (which use the same centercaps that came stock on the car)
