.........................Please let me know which tire I should get (both are bang for your buck) to put on my 100% stock 1997 M3 DSII's staggered set up?

Kumho MX or Anzeis RT615?

Thank you,

The Falken Azenis RT-615 is a much more aggressive tire; softer tread compound and stiffer sidewalls. It will offer significantly better handling than the Kumho, but will yield much less mileage. I have 4,500 fairly spirited street miles on a set of 615's, no track time, and they are almost down to the wear bars. I will finish them off in a track school next month, and get another set. The better tire for you depends on your priorities. Value per mile goes to the Kumho, fun per mile, the Falken.

I've had several sets of the Kuhmo MX's, and love them. I don' think you'll be disappointed with how sticky they can get.

MX's are way lighter but don't handle as sharply.

I heard the new falken azeneis were changed. I am not sure exactly what was changed though. If you are looking to purchase azeneis, try to find an older set. I have spoken with many azeneis owners and they are not too happy with the new product. The kumho mx's are good tires for the price, I recommend them.

I just purchased a set of the MXs for my M3. The only knock I have is that they only come it 235/45 which is a little taller than I would like.

It depends what you are looking for. The Falken RT-615 is much more of a track biased, street tire. The Khumo is more of a street tire, though very good on the track. Both stink in the rain. The Khumo is slightly better but neither will be very comfortable is standing water. I don't find either to be terribly good all around tires. I would only use either of these as a dry only type tire.
