how do i get the factory radio code for my 1995 e36 radio

The dealer. Have the car at the dealership. Turn on the radio while pressing the "M" (mode) button. This should bring up the serial # of the unit. Then the dealer can look it up.

you might need to bring the title of your car to the dealership with you. They don't want to give the code to someone they might think is a thief.
