Hi, I have a 93 Eurospec M3 286hp, I have bilstein sport shocks and now im looking for a good set of springs, since I live in south america, the easiest place to buy from is the US, so Im wondering if the 93 euro springs are the same on a lets say 95 us spec M3....
Ive searched the forum for feedback on the different brands, and I think ill go with the H&R sports, but I need to know if the 95 us spec springs will fit my car...
Thanks :redspot

The euro M springs are stiffer than the US M springs.
Are you just only into lowering or you care about handling too?

I want both Daved, but I use it as a daily driver, so I dont want something too harsh.
I drove my friends 1998 M3 Us Spec a few days ago, and I noticed that his ride is softer than mine, now do you know if the H&R Sports are stiffer than the Euro stock springs ?

I would imagine any of the aftermarket springs are stiffer than the stock euro springs. Design changed in 96 so 95 M3 is your best bet.

This may help you:
H&R Kits
OE Sports- A stiffer spring than stock with a small amount of drop.
Drop: 0.75” Front, 0.3” Rear
Spring Rate: 200 lb Front, 380 lb Rear *
Sports- A stiffer spring than stock with a larger amount of drop than OE Sports.
Drop: 1.2” Front, 1.0” Rear
Spring Rate: 200 lb Front, 380 lb Rear
Race- A very stiff spring for the street, and the lowest drop from H&R
Drop: 2.2” Front, 1.3” Rear
Spring Rate: 345 lb Front, 515 lb Rear
Eibach
Pro-Kit- Stiffer than H&R Sports, but may ride softer than H&R Sports.
Drop: 1.0” Front, 0.8” Rear
Spring Rate: 148 lb Front, 428 lb Rear

Thanks Daved, but how can Eibach Pro Kit ride softer than H&R sports, if they are stiffer ? is it because they are progressive ?

Thanks Daved, but how can Eibach Pro Kit ride softer than H&R sports, if they are stiffer ? is it because Eibachs are "progressive" ?

They're both progressive but maybe it's softer at the beginning of the deflection, if you know what I mean.

Seriously? None.
I care about handling and I know those springs are not going to give me what I want.
I have 450/550 and I love them, yes, they're harsh and sometimes I almost get to hate them but they have saved me from wrecking my car a few times (I usually take corners too fast, even I got a ticket for turning too fast).
