I think this question been asked before but I can't seem to find it.
I am thinking of going with 17x9 in for the rear on stock suspension with 245/40/17 et45, does anyone know if this have rubbing issue or has experience with his setting?
Any comment is appreciated!
Thanks!

The fitment is correct but depending on the camber setting and the specific tire. The 17X9 is tight on the rear but it does work.
If I can help let me know.

Stick with the 245/40. You shouldn't have a problem especially with that offset. I've seen people run a 255/40 on the same size wheel w/ some fender rolling.
I currently run a 255/40 Yok ADVAN (they run wide) on a 17x8.5 et40. I wish I had a wheel similar to what you are running because I think it would help my clearance around the fenders.

oh, i forgot to mention that my fenders are rolled. btw, can someone define offset. is that the distance between the inner lip of the wheel and the inner side wall of the wheel well?

Definition of offset is the distance from the wheel's mounting surface where it attaches to the hub on the car to the center of the wheel's rim.

I would go with the 245/40R17 if the fenders are rolled and with the higher offset you should be fine.
