Why is there fewer perf. parts for the E38's?

the e38 wasnt built for "performance" driving per say...its a luxury cruiser...pretty much dinan is all we have to look to :( the car weighs 4200 lbs, and they are just getting cheap enough for the type of people who would actually "mod" them...within a couple years im sure their will be plenty of altezza tail lights and all that bull shit :(

What are you looking for?

There are BBKs, software, intake, exhaust, SC, suspension, etc., upgrades, though they typically are not inexpensive.

You can look at it several ways. On the one hand, there sure are a lot less perf. parts for E38 compare to the C5, Mustang, 3 Series, etc., supply and demand. On the other hand, there are a lot more been offered compared to a few years ago. Here are some to get you started.
