Just curious...
How many POS cars did you have before you started getting your nicer cars?
I've gone thru the eta and now the vert as my personal POS cars. I'd like to get a nice E36 or new A4 but I dunno, with gas nearing $3/ga...my bike gets ~60..so the cabbie mostly sits there now cept when I drive it when its raining or something.

You have an E30 yet you're whining about $3 gas??

It only gets 23mpg dude. I dont have jap boxes that get 30+
Hell the E36 gets ~28mpg.
After owning smaller cars, anything under 30mpg isn't "good" to me. I miss the 190D 5spd man...55mpg

Believe it or not, someone from out-of-state bought it. I think from Minnesota or something.

Wisconsin actually, Mike.
Well it was a diesel, and diesel 240's are pretty rare in manual form.

eh... heres the pics i have of one of mine... it was fun.. i went, called the guy, bought the car on the spot for cash, drove it straight back to speedworks, threw it on the dyno, wasn't happy with the numbers, so we just sprayed nitrous right into the air intake :) had to let off on the nitrous pull as is shown by the dyno ;)
i forget what year this supra was.. but *shrug*

by the way... a beater car is a car you beat on so you don't have to beat on your toy/fun/regular car... if it's your only car, it's not your beater car... it just means you drive a piece of shit all the time....

I had a '93 and '98 Jeep Grand Cherokees that were definitely beaters. My M3 is currently my beater, the Nissan is the jackstand queen...

I know plenty of people that bought a brand new A4 or crossfire as their "daily beater". That mean there driving a POS all the time?
Car's have gotten on my nerves after owning a bike, cages just arent fun to drive anymore. The Cabbie is still in good shape, I'm just tired of driving that damn thing.. Its nice to ride around in a car when weather is bad but I'd rather be on a bike to be honest.
my beater:
did you get the wheels painted or is it p-chopped ?
that with the blacked out front grill looks awesome.

Either way, it changes from day to day.
Bush was hailed when he came in by "popular opinion"...now whats his approval rating soared to?

learn to read fucknuts...
1) they can buy an a4 or a crossfire as a "daily driver" or a "beater".. but by definition, both of those mean they have another car... and if an a4 or or a crossfire is your beater then your other "toy" car is obviously a nicer car (or a track whore, etc)... the POS the whole time is for people who have ONE car and still refer to it as a beater....
2) it's "cars".. no apostrophe needed... quick lesson because i'm a nice fucking guy.. if the word has an apostrophe, and it's not possessive (i.e. "You are not invited to topher's meets" <- possessive example) you should be able to split it apart into two separate words and the sentence means the same thing... "Car's have gotten on my nerves."... split "Car's" to "Car is"... "Car is have gotten on my nerves"... nope..
3) yes riding a bike can be fun... but i think you're just typically newly obsessed with the bike as many bikerboizzzzz are... it's nice to ride around in car more than when the weather is bad... you thought so for a long time... pretty soon you'll realize that a bike is an occasional/recreational use item, not a primary vehicle...

let me assist with this
http://www.dfwsportbike.com/
there's a good start
i think the rule should be you should visit the appropriate forums based on the percentage of time you drive/ride... i.e. if you ride 95% of the time and drive 5%, you should only be able to post on the car forum 5% of your posting time...
