1998 AlpineIII Magma Sedan... Revised post

Up for sale is my 1998 M3 Sedan with 121k miles (mostly highway). This has been a very well taken care of car with many performance and maintainance upgrades.


New price of $15,995 as of 9/28/2006

Car will come with stock M3 brakes and new Axis pads. Car will also have Stock DSII wheels along with the BBS CH's. If one just wants the stock 17x7.5 DSII's and not the BBS wheels, I can do $14,750. This is the lowest i will go on this car and I have come down a considerable ammount.

Oil has been changed every 5k miles with castrol syntec 20w50 and uses 1qt of oil between oil changes.

Trans and Diff Fluid Changed (Redline)
Shifter output shaft seal Replaced.
Rear main seal replaced.
Valve cover gasket replaced
New Aluminum Thermostat Housing
Alignment about 8 months ago
New Plugs about 10 months ago
Replaced Flexdisk (Guibo)
Replaced Foglight Brackets
Oil Change at 121k
Warm Compression test 205-210 across all cylinders

Wilwoods all around, 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears with 1 piece slotted rotors and ss lines and ate superblue brake fluid...

I have been meaning to take them out to clean all the crap from under them and decided to take a pic to show condition of the carpet.

I can also include the stock calipers if someone isnt interested in the bbk. You can have the one rebuilt and get some new rotors and pads and put them on, sell the bbk and make at least 2k back off the car. You can also sell the rims and pick up some oem contours and make back at least 1k off the car. This will put the price back down to $15995. which is a steal for this car.

It amazes me that the way this car is priced, it is not gone yet... Expecially for a car that has never been tracked or abused... Granted the mileage is a little high but in all actuallity it is low for the year. And all the maint. that has been done to the car. the only thing this car will need in the next 30k miles are oil changes, a guibo, and rtabs (which i have the parts in my trunk). I do have buyers lined up for the UUC BBK and possibly the wheels so i can lower the price of the car considerably. Let me know what you guys think...

When we took off the BBK this past weekend i had a friend drive it that has a 96 M3 with 45k miles and the same mods and he stated that he could tell no difference except my suspension felt better than his Bilstein, H&R setup...

No, i still have the car... I decided not to sell it after too many dead beat buyers and tire kickers... I have way too much money in the car and wasnt ready to take such a huge loss on it. Now its in the process of getting a 3.46 w/40% lockup... should have it done today...
