Car: BMW 325is (E36)
Wheels: Trafficstar Stm or Maya Stm
Dim.: 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear
Tire: General Exclaim UHP

I will be rolling my fenders hard to allow this. I want to put the General Tire Exclaim UHP tires on. I am willing to decide other but would rather not for the awesome price, great reviews, and the large treadwear rating. Heres the problem. The shop that I bought it from recommends to be putting 265/30 on the rear. The general tires have a pretty square style on the side wall though so I may still have rubbing issues. A little rubbing is acceptable. General does not make a 255 only a 245. Should I go with a 265/30 or 245/35 for the rears. Do you think it would be to stretched or is this the way to go to ignore any rubbing issues. The offset for the rears is 39 so maybe that will help a little.

I am assuming you have 1 Ba-Jillion Horsepower, correct?

;)

Just messin' with ya. How much negative camber are you going to run to make those fly?

a 39 offset probably won't be good for your car. you definitely need to run the 245/35 in that case, and he's right that you'd need negative camber. i think you need at least a 43-45 offset to make the 9.5's work in the back.

i used to run 9.5 on my e36, but it rubbed on both rear corners, then again it was lowered w/ a fiberglass aftermarket rear bumper.

Of the people that I know that run 9.5" rims on an E36, the offset is between 42-45mm, they run about 3-4* of negative camber, and they have their fenders STRETCHED, not just rolled (assuming you are not doing new fenders). I do know of several people that run wheels that wide that have widebody fender arches though...

Thanks for all your replys.
I actually got a 35mm offset in the front with a 41mm offset for the rear.
Rolled the fenders and its working perfect. No rubbing either. Bought new springs. Eibach sportline and bilstein shocks struts. Went with 245's on the rear.

Looks good man, so why the TrafficStar the japanese marketed name and not Maya the american marketed name. Did you get a better deal getting them out of japan? I have a buddy with a set of TrafficStars on his Lexus GS400 and they look great, very high quality wheel.
