I'm interested in the H&R Touring Cup kit for my 2003 e46 325i (no sport package). I wanted to know if this kit takes up more, less, or the same room than the stock components. I recently just got some OEM style 119 17x8 sport package wheels from a 2004 325i w/sport. I wanted to put 245's all around but haven't gotten a straight answer on whether that will work or not with my stock non-sport suspension. So I'm also curious whether it will work with the touring cup kit. Or should I be more concerned with fender rubbing? I also don't know the offset of these wheels. Can the car be aligned to spec once the kit is installed? Or do you need some camber plates, etc?
Thank you.

The package would fit fine with the wheels. The 245 width tire may be a little stretched on the wheel. You may also need to roll the fender lip depending on the alignment on the car.
If I can help let me know.

Thanks Jim. I have put the wheels on the car and with 225/45/17 (tires they came with), they seem to have about 10-15mm distance (judging from sticking my finger in there) between the tire and strut. This would be a tight fit for 245s if the measurement was on the lower end of the 10-15mm range, yes? But with stock components you think I should be more worried about the fender side of things here?
Also, do I have to get any other alignment kits/plates for the car to be aligned to spec with the touring kit?
Thanks again.

Sometimes a 3 to 5 mm spacer is needed in the front. The wheel is still hub centric at that point though.

Thanks again Jim. I will have to get something in there more rigid to measure the distance between the tire and strut and then decide which tire to get from there. Minimum clearance should be 5mm? I plan to Auto-X with the 245s, is 5mm enough for the rolling action of the tire?
Do I have to get any other alignment kits/plates for the car to be aligned to spec with the touring kit?
Thanks

The 5 mm clearance should be fine. You can run more negative camber for better performance and more clearance. If you do have a spring kit put on you will have to have the alignment redone.
If I can help let me know.
